20 Oct Project X: Spacing Out, Sitting Down
Project X is certainly snowballing, and we don’t mean that in the gross way. The more we work on it, the more excited we get, the more we want to keep working on it. Thankfully, the stars have been aligning and we’ve managed to get a fair amount of service work done, allowing us a bit more time (and a free lift) with which to work on Project X.
Today, we’ve installed the spacers, which like many of our other aluminum parts, were designed and fabricated in our garage specifically dedicated to such things. On top of that, we installed the new driver’s seat, which was borrowed from an E39 M5. You can definitely tell which seat is more comfortable just by looking at the two next to each other. If you’re gonna roll hard, you may as well be comfortable in the process. The additional side bolstering won’t hurt, either.
