No Fluid MotorUnion build is complete without a custom exhaust, and this customer wanted something special for his NSX. If you have looked online at the mass-produced exhausts for these cars, you are probably just as shocked as we were at how little innovation was involved in these products. Two simple tubes that go back from the turbos out to the tips, no X pipes, no Y pipes, and the ones that include mufflers and valves cost an arm and a leg. The resulting sound – a jumbled mess that sounds more like a turbo diesel VW Jetta than an exotic supercar…
Obviously, we couldn’t let one of our customers roll around with junk like that, so we opted to build an Acura NSX custom exhaust that would provide a sound nobody else had.
Our Acura NSX custom exhaust features megaphones, which allow the gases to expand, and then recompress under pressure, this adjusts the tone up higher giving it a more exotic tone. This leads to a reverse Y pipe blending both banks together and eliminating any rasp. We also included 2x valves so that the customer could divert the exhaust through restricted smaller-diameter pipes. Give us a call at 630.305.3054 if you would like more information on that feature.
Science of Speed Lowering Kit
With the ScienceofSpeed Suspension Lowering Kit, you can achieve a lowered stance for your NSX without compromising on the OEM comfort.
The kit comprises of new CNC machined 6061 billet lower spring mounts that have been repositioned for a precise fit. These lower mounts are adjustable, enabling you to lower the vehicle either by 12mm or 24mm below its original ride height. Furthermore, the innovative design allows you to retain the factory magnetic shock absorbers, ensuring the best possible comfort and performance.
The installation process is straightforward. You need to remove the shock absorber, followed by the removal of the top mounts and disassembling the spring and hardware. After that, you can easily replace the lower mount and reassemble the components.
For the price of the kit sitting below $1,000 – it’s hard to argue with the result!
