M Power:

There has been quite a bit of M cars here all week and today was the day to start the dyno’ing and tuning with Jeremy over at PC.

I started with our shop M roadster but after a few runs something didn’t feel right which led to me discovering bad VANOS therefore we’ll just have to wait for the graphs a little longer. After the roadster I had a customers E39 M5 to dyno and tune. After about 6 runs and some amazing numbers from a stock E39 the rollers started giving me some odd noises so that also limited me on dyno time for the rest of the day. Thinking I broke the dyno I left it alone and took a lap around the shop to see what else was going on. Some of you may recognize the somewhat familiar engine cover of A.W.O.L.’s old E34 M5 which is now a customers car of ours. AWOL’s M5 has been in for pretty much two weeks getting a number of things done. Today was the day he would pick it up and I think it left running pretty well. Aside from that the very interesting HKS install is going on our customer’s E46 M3. Very interested to see the numbers once we complete it!

Here are some images around the shop from what was going on all day:
