TGIF

Friday has been a rather busy day. The lot is still packed to the brim (and then some), everybody is moving around constantly and working as hard as possible. However, we were able to bring an old friend out from its hiding space. It’s probably the first time this thing’s seen sunlight since mid-summer, and since we’ve been growing, there are probably a good amount of people who aren’t fully acquainted with our baby. Well, here it is, the M Roadster.

You might have seen this car on StanceWorks or elsewhere on the internet, but if you haven’t, let’s go through a quick breakdown of what this car’s packin.

First of all, let’s start with the lowest part of the car, the wheels. The stock M Roadster wheels were painted black, and the rear 17x9s were mounted up front. In the rear, the width of the rim was expanded to 11 inches, giving the Roadster what can only be described as a badonkadonk. This car, unlike others we’ve had on this site, utilizes a static coilover setup, so there’s no ride height adjusting to match the conditions of the road; this thing rolls hard everywhere it goes, throwing sparks so bright you can see them from space. The coilovers aren’t made by one specific brand; rather, to make sure that everything fit exactly perfect under the fenders, many different parts from many different coilover sets were used. Even we aren’t too terribly sure anymore.

Of course, with the show also comes the go. Sporting forged internals and S54 throttle bodies mated to the Roadster’s S52, and containing our everpresent velocity stack setup, this car’s redline inches towards 9 grand, and it sounds good every step of the way. At this point, one might be saying, “A 9 grand redline, one inch ground clearance and a totally proper stance? This is madness!” Oh no, this isn’t madness. This is Fluid MotorUnion.

We’ve also got an update for something else that’s been in the works for a while. You may or may not have seen our resident superwoman Marilynn rocking this M45 at one point, but since then, we’ve been slowly putting together an even crazier ride. We’re currently working on a full exhaust, and some other things that we won’t divulge just yet. Get excited for this one, because we certainly are.

hahaha wait til you see what happens when the M45 gets its stance dialed in. it’ll be just as low as the M, hopefully, but on bags, so it won’t lose its oil pan on the second day.

well, if you want to seriously consider velocity stacks, give us a call and talk to Mike Marzano. he’s got the knowledge to help you on the path to one seriously sick engine bay.
