One of the best things about working at Fluid is the variety.
We here at Fluid have a sizable number of regulars that roll through our garage. More often than not, they'll first come in for some small piece of work, take notice of what else we're doing and want to come back.
After a long Labor Day weekend, we're back! Hopefully everybody managed to have a fun three days. We sure did.
Earlier in the summer, we had the opportunity to murder out a Range Rover Sport. This was no normal Range Rover, though; this one belonged to the Milwaukee Brewers' relief pitcher LaTroy Hawkins.
We have a saying 'round these parts... It sucks to roll hard. Fender rub, sparks, fist-sized holes in the oil pan, it takes a lot of effort to keep a stanced out car on the road.
Another project we worked on this summer was an exhaust pipe fabrication for a customer's E30 M3. The piping that was previously on this exhaust was not in a pretty condition whatsoever.
Fluid MotorUnion definitely has a following. We've been featured in issues of BMW Performance magazine, covered by Speedhunters, Jalopnik, and various other reaches of print- and web-based media. All this exposure has us flattered, and it's good to see that our hard work...
A client brought in his SL55 AMG for some minor tweaks. He wanted a better but not overdone exhaust tone, so to get a little more than the classic AMG growl, we deleted the secondary cats and welded in some straight piping.
