A client brought in his SL55 AMG for some minor tweaks. He wanted a better but not overdone exhaust tone, so to get a little more than the classic AMG growl, we deleted the secondary cats and welded in some straight piping.

He also wanted to go just a bit lower than the AMG’s ABC (Active Body Control, which controls the adjustable ride height) would allow, so we obliged him. It wasn’t a massive drop, but nobody likes to rub fender, so we only lowered it a tad. It still looks pretty slick, though, hence the need for an impromptu photo shoot around the back of our fabrication garage. BBS LM’s have a nice refined look that go perfectly with the rather prim-and-proper Mercedes.
