I personally am a way bigger fan of the new Gran Turismo S but the Coupe Gran sports do look pretty sharp in person. Sporting the 4.2L 390hp v8 it definitely had a nice rumble to it. I would definitely recommend searching for a Gran Turismo S if you are in the market for a Maserati. The Gran Turismo S uses a 4.7L V8 built by Ferrari themselves which is also used in the very rare Alfa Romero 8C Competizione.
While the Gran Turismo S has a somewhat quick 0-60 time of 4.9 seconds it still seems that Maserati could have made it quicker. By the time you pass the 1/4 mile you would have only seen just over 12.9 seconds which is a pretty good time for being stock from the factory. It seems that 2004 GranSports are going between $30,000 all the way up to 2006”s for $55,000+ So if I myself was looking for a Maserati as my next car I would definitely go for the Gran Turismo S.
