10 Jun Featured: E46 M3 SuperCharged by Active AutoWerkes
This amazing car you see before belongs to none other than Mr. Tony Moy. I had the opportunity to ask Mr. Moy a few questions about him and this amazing E46 M3 we see before us.
Mike: Tony, when did you get into the modding scene and let us know how came across such an amazing car.
Tony: Well as far as previous cars, I had a 95′ 318ti as my first car, I moved onto an 98′ Acura Integra type R, which was the gateway car for me as far as modding goes. I had full bolt ons; exhaust, headers, short shifter, air intake, unfortunately the car got stolen and I purchased an estoril blue E36 M3. I then continued to mod the E36 with H&R springs, koni shocks, shark injectors, acs exhaust, supersprint headers, ecis cold air intake, H.R.E. wheels, also a full blown sound system. I traded the E36 in for the e46 M3 you see today at Perillo BMW in 2005.
Mike: Sounds like a quality back ground as far as the modding past goes and I am very sorry to hear about the stolen cars in the past. Was the car brand new at Perillo or was it being sold with some aftermarket parts?
Tony: I bought the car brand new from Perillo bone stock and let the modding begin.
Mike: Awesome, what is the current mod list that I see on the car today?
Tony: Currently the mod list sits like this:
- Praxxis Air Ride Suspension
- Brembo grand turismo bbk
- Neez Eurocross
- Auto Solutions SSK
- Active AutoWerkes gen 4 stage 2 super charger
- Supersprint stepped header/ race cats
- And a bunch of other misc. mods.
Mike: Certaintly looks just as amazing on paper as it does in reality! Any future plans for the car or is set up as you want it?
Tony: I am probably going to aim for more power with this car in the near future and possibly do a clutch/fly wheel upgrade.
Mike: Amazing Tony, hopefully we will see you back in here to find that extra power! Thanks again for sitting down with me about your car, I think everyone else that reads this will be as impressed as I am by your E46. I hope we see you at some of our events in the near future!
