27 Aug A Work in Progress (Continued)
A small update on the soon-to-be-completed fabrication garage:
A couple tiny setbacks proved themselves to be bottlenecks for several larger projects. However, the electrician (finally) arrived yesterday, so we could finally move the dyno to its new home, so we could finally move some of the fabrication equipment (lathes, etc.) to where the dyno used to be, so then everything could be in place by the time the new lifts arrived today. There’s still some more work to be done, but thanks to the arrival of the electrician and the lifts, everything is running more smoothly, and soon (by Sunday, hopefully) we will have ourselves a brand new fabrication section of Fluid MotorUnion! Champagne will fall from the skies, the Cubs will win the World Series*, all sorts of wonderful things will happen after this move is complete!
For now, though, here are some more shots of our progress:
*Editor’s Note: My baseball team affiliation is not in any way indicative of the general leanings of Fluid MotorUnion. For all I know, I might be the only Cubs fan here.
*Second Editor’s Note: It has been brought to my attention that I am, in fact, the only Cubs fan here. All further references to a specific Major League Baseball team will be withheld under penalty of torture.
