Tom and Craig have both been working hard on the exhaust for the SL500.

While Craig was on vacation in Mexico, Tom was putting all his time and effort into making this exhaust a continuation of Fluid’s promise to continue cranking out beautiful metalwork that sounds even better than it looks.

In terms of sound, we haven’t started it up yet, but we want to soon. Judging by how our previous Merc exhausts have turned out, we’re getting antsy over here to hear that aggressive growl upon startup.

Since we’re not going for expressly overt loudness with this build, we added two Vibrant resonators to the midsection. We’re also currently waiting on the muffler to arrive that’s going to be built into the tailpipe section, so we can’t blaze through to the finish just yet, but here’s shots of what we’ve got so far:
