For those not in the know, static refers to the lowering of a car by means of changing the springs or coilovers, as opposed to installing an airbag system (which can change its height with a switch, dynamically, hence static being the opposite). A client brought in his SL55 AMG for some minor tweaks. He wanted a better but not overdone exhaust tone, so to get a little more than the classic AMG growl, we deleted the secondary cats and welded in some straight piping.
