Nearing Completion

Nearing Completion

It’s a labor of love, but we’re almost finished with Gary’s full exhaust.

We’ve been at it like fiends in order to get the exhaust finished for Gary’s M5, as he’s racing this weekend and there’s still a tune to do. Fear not, though, Fluid works best under looming deadlines. Look at MFest for proof of this. But onto some pictures of the exhaust. Below, we have Tom (with a very sullen look on his face) doing the finishing welds around the resonators:

That mid-and-part-of-the-rear-section will connect to these two end pieces pictured below. As always, we put everything together by hand, no use of third-party exhaust tips in this house. The welds came out looking great, too:

All that’s left is fitment and final welds, then it’s on to the tune. We’ll try to get some video of Gary’s exhaust when time presents itself, but until then, start pumping yourself up. With cams and headers, this will be a little brother to Gold Wheels.

You also may or may not have noticed, but we’ve included an “Education Station” corner of the Projects section. Yep, it’s coming back. Prepare yourselves.
