30 Dec Fluid MotorUnion’s 2011 Year In Review
It was a big year over at Fluid MotorUnion, so we have a lot to cover. Let’s not waste any time, shall we?
As we said, the last 364 days have been a flurry of activity. All sorts of interesting cars have rolled through the lot at Fluid. Let’s take a look at some of the cars that came in this past year for smaller, more service-related work, with a bit of fabrication thrown in as well:
As you know, we pride ourselves on our fabrication skills. And it’s not just limited to close-up shots of welds, either. Take a look at some of the various fabrication projects we completed this year:
Smaller projects aren’t the only things that left our shop this year. Some longer-term projects finished up as well, such as the MGB, the world-first USDM 997 on STANCE coilovers, Project X and more:
Fluid MotorUnion also visited a number of shows, starting with Tuner Galleria in early March and ending with the FMU BBQ and Stretch Your Legs IV in October. Here’s a few choice pictures from the various events, which also include Supercar Saturdays, MFEST V, Friday Night Lights and SEMA 2011:
Finally, we had to say some goodbyes during this calendar year. Four of our project cars will be sold (or have already been sold) to make way for the 2012 lineup, and we also shrunk by one employee, as Aaron moved on to different ventures:
All in all, it’s been a crazy year. If you want to know more specifics about what we’ve done over the past 52 weeks, check out the “Projects” tab at the top of our website, and browse around to see every blog post connected to the various cars that have come through our doors. We apologize if we missed anybody, as this post could have easily been three times as long. Either way, here’s to a new year, and we at Fluid MotorUnion wish every single one of you health and happiness in 2012. Let’s cap off the year the right way — with a picture of Jade on a car.
