28 Mar Cat (Delete) Power
The S5’s cat delete is almost finished. Here’s what we’ve got so far.
For now, it’s only tacked, but our awesome jig has served its purpose, as initial fitment of the S5’s cat delete pipes was looking to be spot-on. From there, it’s just a matter of finishing the welds and putting it all back together. Here are a couple shots of the tacked-up pipe:
Compared to the earth-friendly catalytic converter above, you already know this cat delete is going to free up some extra ponies:
And finally, here’s a quick close-up of the S5’s underbody, with the cat delete attached to the header flanges:
