29 Oct Chicagoland Leather Repair
Leather, especially in older BMW’s is prone to cracking which looks terrible. Fortunately, there are some companies out there that offer quality leather repair. Dahl Color has been in business for over 30 years and when you see the quality leather repair provided, you’ll know why! Take a look at the images below of their recent work for us on a BMW E39 M5. Dahl uses all OEM Leather Dyes that are factory color matched so in turn, the seats look and feel as they did when the car sat in the showroom 14 years ago.
As seen below, the cracks are starting to show and the leather as become extremely shiny losing all of it’s original feel and softness.
After the first step, most of the cracking is gone. The color isn’t quite as black as before but that is handled next.
Mission complete! The color is spot on and the leather looks as it did when it left the factory.
If your leather is cracking on your BMW or any other car for that matter, you don’t have to live with it. Whether you live in the Chicagoland area or are just looking to repair your leather seats while you’re in for service, let us know! We’re conveniently located just off the route 59 exit of I88 in Naperville, IL and would love to help you restore your interior to its original condition!
