Up for sale is a ’99 Oldsmobile Intrigue GX. It has 119,756 miles on the odometer and is completely up to date on all its services. Low mileage for a 13-year-old car!

The GX is the base model, and it comes equipped with the 3.8L L36 V6 motor, which is rated at 195 horsepower from the factory. The car is in mechanically sound condition and starts, runs and stops much better than most 1999 models you see on the road.

The interior is in good condition and has been recently detailed. The cloth seats have no burns, as it is a non-smoking car, and they are in good overall condition. The same goes for the plastic on the dashboard – no cracks, warping or damage indicative of a 13-year-old car. Everything related to the interior functions perfectly, from the window controls to the radio.

In terms of the exterior, the paint is in good condition, as are the trim pieces (side-view mirrors, trunk badges, etc.). The vehicle’s exterior has been recently detailed, as well. There are a few dents and dings on the body that will be described below. Any body shop should be able to take care of them for a decent price:

-Rear Bumper: Small scrapes from parallel parking, not noticeable beyond 20 feet.
-Front Bumper: Small scratches, again from parallel parking.
-Passenger Rear Quarter Panel: Small scratches in the clearcoat.
-Passenger Front Fender: One small dent no larger than a half-dollar coin, did not affect the paint beneath it.

Basically, the exterior marks are much less than you’d expect on a car of this age, and otherwise it basically feels like a much newer vehicle than it actually is. The tires are in good condition and the wheels only have a few small nicks that a refinishing can take care of easily.

Given the quality of the vehicle for being 13 years old, and taking into account the price, this is one sweet deal that we want to get moving on ASAP.
