If you remember from our Middle East Trip postings, we have Hani and Marisa out in Doha, keeping things in line for Fluid's expansion to the Arabian Peninsula. Well, progress is being made, and we wanted to share it with you.
Yesterday, the entire staff of Fluid MotorUnion stopped working for 20 minutes or so. Did we start following the French workday? No. We just had to move a very large, unwieldy piece of equipment.
After plenty of elbow grease and sweat, drilling and forklifting, expletives and energy drinks, the fabrication garage is complete! Since OJ and Craig returned from the Middle East yesterday, we fulfilled our promise of finishing before they got back, with the last little bits being completed by sunset on Saturday.
A small update on the soon-to-be-completed fabrication garage: A couple tiny setbacks proved themselves to be bottlenecks for several larger projects. However, the electrician (finally) arrived yesterday, so we could finally move the dyno to its new home, so we could finally move some of...
